There Is No Set It And Forget It

Myth:  I can build my online business so I can just "set it and forget it" and it will provide me with long-term passive income!

Who remembers the Ronco TV ads “Just set it and forget it!”?

Well, that may be great for the Ronco Rotisserie, but it is NOT great for your online business.

Real Talk: Whoever told you that you could throw up a sales page, sell an online course, throw money at a repeating FB ad to a funnel, and you would rake in long-term passive income sold you a bill of goods!   

There is no “setting and forgetting” if you want a healthy, growing, and prosperous business.

Yes, I get it, having an online product with automated marketing that makes money for you while you sleep is the DREAM of all dreams…

But just throwing a product out there with a fancy sales page and a funnel, isn’t it?

Passive, recurring income products, like templates, self-study courses, ebooks, or (insert a product here) still require:

ongoing market research to see how your audience’s needs are evolving

a ton of money in ads to continually reach new people

continually upgrading your offer suite (no one buys a passive income product more than once)

having a marketing strategy behind the product that continually gets you in front of new audiences (like showing up in new places where your Right Fit Client® hangs out to showcase your special sauce in action to create raving fans who will buy future products from you and refer you to others)

… and more.

If you are currently in the online world with the mindset that you don’t want to (or balk at having to) take the time to continually work on your business, let me save you thousands of dollars…get out now, find something else to do, this is NOT a recipe for long-term success.

It still requires very active involvement.

No one is “setting it and forgetting it”.
